71st Annual Membership Meeting
Border FCU will host the 71st Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, April 3rd. This meeting will be held in person at our new El Indio Hwy branch located at 2344 El Indio Hwy in Eagle Pass, but you may choose to attend a live broadcast at our main office community room (backside of building) at 2211 N Bedell Ave in Del Rio. To participate in the meeting and/or To request a 2024 Annual Report, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Doors at both locations will open at 5:00 PM, and the business meeting will begin at 5:30 PM.
Board of Directors - Nominees
There are two vacancies on the Board of Directors, each for a 3-year term, to be filled at the 71st Annual Meeting. The Nominating Committee has nominated the following candidates to fill these vacancies:
Mark Crosby
Mark Crosby (Border FCU volunteer for over 20 years) - was elected to the Board of Directors in 2004. He has served in various capacities during his tenure, including Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Member-at-Large. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Mr. Crosby was honored as Volunteer of the Year in 2006. He is a proud United States Air Force veteran and a retired Del Rio Interim Police Chief. Currently, Mr. Crosby serves as a T-38 Aircraft Swing Shift Supervisor at Laughlin Air Force Base and holds the position of Secretary on the Border FCU Board of Directors.
Griselda Martinez
Griselda Martinez (Border FCU Volunteer for over 4 years) – is a retired school teacher with 35 years of dedicated service who is committed to volunteering in various local organizations such as Delta Kappa Gamma (teachers’ sorority), Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni and her current role as President for the SFDRCISD Education Foundation. In 2020, Mrs. Martinez was appointed to the Supervisory Committee and, in 2024, was elected to the Board of Directors, where she now holds the position of Assistant Treasurer.
